Helping kids grow up money smart is foundational to a thriving community.
Every year, we partner with the American Bankers Association to offer a fun financial education event for elementary students. Teach Children to Save (TCTS) is held on the fourth Thursday in April, but the program runs all year and focuses on building healthy money habits early in life.
The program offers activities, book readings, and interactive experiences to help students enjoy learning how to save. TCTS also highlights information on the Federal Reserve Bank, U.S. Currency and banking as a career. Class curriculum is also available as a resource for teachers.
